Mastercard COPA America Sponsorship

I was the main comms point of contact throughout this activation. After developing media lists, pitches, briefing documents, key messaging and timelines I lead the entire small businesses outreach in Arizona and coordination the second half of the New York outreach consisting of updating the client, communicating with media, organizing interviews and moving along opportunities. ​

Assignment:

Continue positioning Mastercard as an experiential brand by leading the conversation around Soccer in LAC.

Objective:

  • Using Sponsorship Assets to continue positioning Mastercard as an inclusive and experiential brand. ​

  • Lead the conversation around Soccer in LAC.

Highlights:

  • ​Four media tours for Two Talent partners, One Small Business Owner and One Mastercard Executive​

  • Full booking on media tours across variety of targeted outlets in  Hispanic, Consumer/Entertainment and Business verticals​

  • Seamless execution of creative campaign with our SBO personifying Mastercard's principles on support small businesses, especially Latino owned ones. ​

  • Leveraged regional media for rich, campaign storytelling that was syndicated to larger outlets (e.g., Yahoo! Sports)​

  • Provided media with embargoed brand content for timely postings and publishing​

  • Hosted media trainings from both talent spokespeople and our SBO
